Hitting For The Cycle: Double Header: KC Ep.70

This was my second "cycle" for my hunting season where I had a single, double, triple, and quad on the same night.

Sure wish I could see them coming from that far away, but if I could I would not be living in WV. Believe I will stay. Good work as usual Korey.

I agree with ya Joey. As you know Greene CO. PA is bordered by WVA both west and south. Korey, your vids never disappoint. thanks

Thanks for watching, responding and your kind words. I am fortunate to hunt the wide-open plains. There is something about seeing them respond at times more than 1+ miles way that does add to the enjoyment.

I was surprised at the number of runners in episode. Some made it quite a ways. Dang tough critters!
The only way for me to see more than 100 yds is to hunt a logging road or powerline. Someday I will treat myself to some open country hunting whether I kill anything or not.
Thanks for another fine show.

Yes, some of them ran a bit. They were pretty much all heart-shot, and they tend to run when a person shoots them there. They don't go far but they do go for a little bit with blood pumping out the side.

I seem to have better luck in the trees than in open areas. All the flat open areas that are public are no go zones for coyotes. Not much private land without an orchard on it.

Those coyotes were all dead runners. Adrenaline is amazing stuff!

Not much private land without an orchard on it.We have very few trees with the exception of shelterbelts, around farmsteads, and along rivers. Besides this, it is very, very open. When this is all there is, the coyotes don't know anything else.

Pretty awesome stuff! Amazing how much of a trail that coyote at 4:30 painted.

We have some big open fields but we also have a lot of heavy timbers and brush patches. They sure are adaptable critters.
