Knife question

Does anyone know anything about this knife? It is stamped PAL RH 36 made in USA.

RH=Remington Hunting

That knife is a Remington pattern.

Made by PAL between 1940-1952, after they purchased the cutlery division of Remington.......

Thanks for the info on the knife guys. I found it while going through some old family stuff. It felt pretty solid in my hand and already had a decent edge. I wish I knew the history of it. Maybe my grandfather carried it in the war.
