Your Physco Tweety is a good choice.
When calling Reds, I always have better lucky with softer but higher pitched sounds. I have a few of Burnham Bros S2 and S4 calls, they are just two plastic flat plates with rubber bands holding them together and some kind of reed sandwiched in between them. I make my own reeds out of plastic baggies and such and test them till I find a nice high pitch that I like. Sometimes I flutter my tongue when I am calling with these, in order to make a bird sound. Go on www.allpredatorcalls.com and look at the Burnahm Bros S2 or S4 calls. They are cheap, like $4 or something. They work great with a little modification. Amazing how far away they hear that little tiny call.
With an e-caller, you never know what will work. I've called Reds in using the FoxPro sound Aggressive Jack which is about as bold and abrasive sound you can find, but they came. I am not recommending that sound, just an example of some oddball stuff that occassioanlly works. Bird sounds almost always are good producers for Reds.
