UltraStinger question....

and I can't find the answer. I'm pretty sure I've seen it discussed, but my "search" skills are lacking. What scope cover (# and brand name) is used to make a flip-up red lens? Picked up a Streamlignt UltraStinger today, and want to get it hunting ready. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Ummmmmm, butler creek blizzard caps, with the yellow plastic removed and replaced with red plastic. Size I can't help you with, But Byron South will know.

Butler Creek #11 Blizzard scope cap. That's the one with the clear plastic lense cover...

Paint the inside of the lense cover with a red Sharpie...

Works like a charm!

Thanks STUMP49, your cover is exactly what I want. I looked at the site, and the one they show looks like a LED lens, don't know if that would work, or make a difference? Guess I'll call them later and ask some questions. Your set up looks good, any reports as to how it works in the field?
