Got my Driver's License!

I guess it's pretty cool. I don't have a vehicle at the moment yet but will sometime in the near future. It is going to have a big Foxpro decal on the back with a couple other selected decals. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I go for a job interview tomorrow for a job at a big grocery store opening near my homeplace. We will see what happens. I plan on saving my money for college....

Nice I got mine on the last day of school and already got my hound hunting decals on the back window of my topper!

Congrats Duffman, that's a great accomplishment for a young fella. Drive safely and have fun. it's been a long time since I got my drivers license, but it sure was great when I did.

I spent a bunch of years driving truck around this country and liked the job really well. The last two years before I retired I drove from Seattle to Alaska making a round trip every six days with my son.

Be careful and be safe.

Its fun being able to drive and go hunting any time you want.Its the filling your truck up again that isnt too fun.

I got mine in 1980, gas broke $1 per gallon that year and by year's end was up around $1.22. It had been about .60 per in '77 when Carter first came to office.


Congrats on the license, that is an incredible feeling of freedom, I remember it well!

Back then we could have rifles and/or shotguns in our p/u trucks' rear window gun racks when we were parked at the high school parking lot. Nobody thought anything about it. Er, things have changed a little since then... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif
 
Congrats on the license! I just now figured out how old I am when everyone started talkin bout when they got theirs. I got mine in 89 and gas was bout 1.00 gal then round these parts. Thanks guys now I guess I have to act my age

Your still a young'en /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I got my licenses back in 84, and I don't remember what gas was back then /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif must be old age catching up to me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
 
Congrats! Duffman. When you get your 1st ride & a paycheck coming in. Suddenly, the chicks find a guy more interesting, LOL!
