Moderator/Trapping & Fur Handling Wildlife Biologist - Administration |
I live within a mile of where I grew up here in East Texas and received my degree from Stephen F.
Austin State University with a double major in Timber and Wildlife Management. I work as a state
wildlife biologist, so I lucked out and got my dream job which allows me to do something I love and
get paid for it.

I have had a passion for hunting and fishing since I was kid. You name it, I like to hunt it or catch it. I started out hunting squirrels and deer, and later picked up turkey, waterfowl, and predator hunting. I still spend a lot of time hunting deer with both gun and bow. I also like to the challenge of trapping. There's nothing like hearing the jingle of a trap chain in the early morning darkness and wondering what you got. |

hunting is an addiction as much as an obsession. Not knowing what or how fast something
is coming in adds an element of suspense not found anywhere else. I am looking forward to teaching my kids (a son and a daughter) to hunt,
fish, and love the outdoors. My son has already started to follow in my outdoor footsteps. He has
taken at least one deer every year the last 4 years and took his first doves and squirrels this year.
He has yet to take a predator, but soon. I love my wife and appreciate her allowing me to spend so
much time afield. I am also a steadfast Christian and active in my church.
Predator Master is a great site, and I hope that as moderator I can help
others get into the great sport of hunting the hunters. I have had the privilege of getting to meet
many of our members as well as sponsors, and hunted with a few of them. I have yet to meet one that
I did not genuinely like. I know I have learned volumes here, and look forward to getting to know
some of you. |
