I was over from England hunting Coyote's I was in hire car.
I was or course driving on your correct side of the road (wrong side to me!) I came up to a tee junction and I was confused as to the direction I should take left or right.
I pondered for while when down the road came a patrol car.
Jumping out I gave what I hoped was a friendly wave, he stopped.

"thanks for stopping" I said with my English accent crisp and clear
"whats the problem?? where you from??"He asked
"From England UK" "Hunting Coyote's" "Do I go left or right to Yellowstone"

Not answering my question he said
" don't you guys drive on the left hand side?"
"Yes we do"
" How do you find driving on the RIGHT side" He asked with a smile
( Now I do like a laugh and a joke)
"well not to bad really finding it quite easy"
"Been here before have you, so you are used to it!!"
"No first trip....but I did practice at home for couple of months driving on the right side before the trip"
He just looked at me in disbelief not realising I was joking.
I just smiled at him and shook my head he broke down with laughter shook my hand and sent me on my way.

Nice that I was able to cheer him up doing a very hard job dealing with drug dealers, thieves, and worst still foreigners
