I have a Bullberry carbine barrel. I had intended to get a Boyd’s thumbhole stock and forearm. Ran into a potential problem. Boyd’s says their carbine forearm mounting holes are 3 9/16 apart. My Bullberry barrel mounting holes are 3 1/8. Boyd’s pistol forearm holes are 3 1/8 so I asked them how long their forearms are, could I use their pistol forearm as a substitute on my carbine barrel and function ok. They don’t answer. Anybody have both and tell me how long each is?

Think I found the answer, found in the fine print, fine for these old eyes, Boyd’s pistol and carbine forearms are same length at 11 inches

Look at bullberrys hanging system for forearms. The screw into the two holes in a barrel and have just one hole in the forearm. You could plug the original two holes with a wood plug or little polished piece of brass dowel polished and epoxied in.
