Did the annual Ghost Town Tour over the weekend. It's a trip I put together every year. This year I led 13 other vehicles and about 25 other people including 6 kids from 3 to 13. We travelled 300 miles of dirt without touching pavement and without seeing anyone but ourselves.
Along the way, we encountered heat, cold, dust, mud, rain, hail and snow. We had one broken sway bar axle mount, a broken brake hard line and a shredded tire. We had a couple mirrors broke off, one dented front fender, one dented rocker and one factory rear bumper torn off a 200 series Land Cruiser. We had one rig run out of gas and several worried they were going to. We over came serious washouts. We had one snow stuck and a bunch of mud stucks. We had snow ball fights, sledding, campfires, bush repairs, wet desert and wet pine smells, lots of good food and drink and talking around the campfires and just altogether way too much fun! Nothing but smiles and laughter from the whole crew the whole time.
