For those that have a Tikka 223 with a 1 in 8 twist, what box ammo are you finding that is the most accurate? What grain bullet and powder should I look into when I start reloading for this gun? Thanks for your help.

I have not ammo tested too much because I got moa on the first try. Hornady 55 gr sp. in the 50 round box.

black hills Barnes 62gr tsx is shoots about the same.

My 8 twist Tikka shoots most everything great, from 40gr Vmax to 75gr Amax. The new Hornady 73gr ELD ammo would be awesome I bet.

I do not reload and friends that do say they .223 is not real picky on powder. Many use Benchmark others have used varget, reloader 15, 8208.
Factory loads have done very well for me shooting 40-55 grains in Tikka's and Sako's.
The Ultramax 50 gr Nosler factory reloads have done extremely well in 1-8 twist for me. 50 gr Blitzking Black Hills blue box group and kill nice too.
That twist will certainly shoot heavier bullets just no need for me.
Here is a pic with ultramax-nosler. Can't remember if this is Tikka or Sako rifle, both 1-8 twist;
