Hello, names Ryan from West Central Iowa. I have been cruising this site for some time, but finally got around to registering. I don't know why it took me so long.

I have only been predator hunting for about two years, so I have a ton to learn. This is a very informative site with tons of good information. My predator of choice is coyotes and my bolt gun of choice is my Howa 1500 22-250 with a Bushnell Elite 6500 4.5-30x50. I added cheek pad, bipod and sling.

Hey there, my name is Kyler. I live in Northeast Colorado and am new to Predator Hunting. I have been night hunting a couple times now and cant wait for the weather to cool off so I can see these beasts in the Daylight. I have not yet shot my first Coyote but my buddy did shoot one the first night we went out.

I shoot a Vanguard S2 in 25-06 and I absolutely love it. I reload and currently worked up an 85 gr Nosler BT over some IMR 4350 for coyotes.

I have a Fiance, a 9 month old son, and a really cool mixed breed dog.

Besides hunting I enjoy the heck out of Dirt Circle track racing at a couple local race tracks around here in the IMCA Northern Sport Mod class.

I am also a Volunteer firefighter and have been in service for about 4 years now. Not only is it a lot of fun at times, but even though it is not a paid position it is equally rewarding in other ways. Plus, you learn a lot as well.

To support my hobbies I work at an Auto Salvage yard selling used car parts. I handle all of our online sales so if anyone needs any parts cheaper than oem you can get ahold and I will shoot you a price. We deal mostly in mid 90s and newer so if youre looking to fix up your pop's old Chevelle I probably wont be of much help.

Anyways, thanks for letting me into your community here and I will talk to you all soon.

Hi there,
A quick hello from Scotland,UK.
I was a member here a good few years ago but I've had a break from hunting for around 5 years.
Presently the proud owner of a little BRNO .22 LR and a Baikal .222.
Like my varmint shooting particuarly Red Fox

Hey everyone My name is James. I live in Nebraska. Right on the edge of the sandhills. Don't hunt anything but coyotes. My state has a continual open season on them and no hunting permit is required. I love it when I can do cheap activities.

Never got into deer or anything else really. Might have to try it some time. I couldn't tell you how many have walked right past me while I've been coyote hunting.

I'm 28 and have been hunting only five years, got into it rather late. Had other things on my mind when I was younger. Live and learn and pay lots of fines.

Got one daughter whose six and my boy on the way now due in November right around Thanksgiving. Guess I'll have something to be thankful for this year.

My coyote gun is a savage axis in 223. I don't see the use in spending lots of money in a gun when this one works just fine.

My job is a night maintenance supervisor(I say this loosely because I'm the only one their at night)at a tomato growing factory.

Anyways thanks for having me. Love the site. Lots of information.

I am also owner of the great WORKING Jack Russell breed.
I currently have 1 JRT right now. My other passed away.

I am looking forward to talking with everyone and hopefully learning some new things along the way!

Hello. My name is Fred, retired and living in the Nicola Valley in British Columbia. Coyotes, and wolves are a problem in this cattle country. I use a Ruger #1 in .223, for the close shots, a 6/.284 Rem.700 for those long range critters. Looking forward to sharing information with fellow reloaders/ hunters.

Hi all, names Robert and im in vegas. Grew up in the desert of socal and did alot of rabbit hunting but now im getting into yotes. Bought some hand calls few months back and finally went out last week and first time calling called in a yote 200 yards he stopped so i took the shot.... and managed to hit the dirt between his legs i think i singed the hair on his belly. Learned how valuable shooting sticks are especially when your rifle you have is a not so light 338lm. Got some 300blk loaded up and is begging to go out this weekend!

Thanks to all who have contributed to the wealth of knowledge on the boards, i researched for weeks and practiced calling at home based on what i leatned here.

Hello all! I'm Chris and I'm from Kansas. I was born right here in Emporia Ks. but spent 13 years in the deserts of Arizona while I was growing up. I'm 41 and work in underground utilities. I've been married 3 1/2 years to a wonderful woman who puts up with me daily, and reminds me daily how wonderful she is because she puts up with me. I have three children who are my heart and soul, A 19 year old young son who is a Marine, An 8 year old daughter, and a 2 1/2 year old son. I've been shooting since I can remember but I've never done much hunting until about 2 years ago. A friend of mine invited me on a coyote hunt. He was successful my first time out & I was hooked.

Hello from the dry side of Washington. I grew up on a small cattle ranch and then left for a couple enlistments in the Marines. I got out back in 2009, came home and screwed around for a while. Now I'm about done with an AA degree in welding and I'm working out how to buy a few thousand acres to raise some cattle on in a few years. I love hunting our big desert mule deer when I have the time (and elk but I gotta drive for those), coyotes are a shoot on sight thing around here. I'm not sure how serious about calling them I'll get but I figured I'd give it a shot this winter. Maybe I'll get lucky and thin them out a little bit around the ranch.

Hello from Indiana. I have trapped since the age of 13, although I have not trapped for the last 3 years (getting a little older and lazier). I have done some coyote calling in the past and would like to do some more now. After looking at all the very nice custom made calls on this site It has motivated me and I have dug out my old lathe and plan to start making some calls for myself. I’m sure I will learn a lot from this site.

Welcome new members!
I like hunting, fishing, camping, reloading, and to ride my bike like I stole it.
Best video ever IMO, on what it is like to pilot this machine..

Hi everyone, my name is Jake McNerney from WNY. Been trappin and huntin since I was twelve and love predator hunting. I hunt both woods and fields with my huntin partner and solo. My rig is a T/C Venture Predator with a bushnell XLT DOA 4-12x42 and a wicked w400 red light. I currently run the Primos Turbo Dogg and am building my own calls and lanyards. This sight looks great and can't wait to read through and learn new tactics and share my own.

Howdy, my name is Darwin and I'm a goofy sombeach. I spend most weekends wandering the deserts of Utah and Nevada looking for varmints of all kinds. I shoot / hunt at least one day per week, and spend the other days reloading for the coming weekend. Lack of devilish good looks and charming personality has kept me single for many years, allowing me to live the dream of living life like a vagabond
