Fog or rain....

I finally was able to get out for the first time since last year to try some calling. On the day I chose to go out it was really foggy and quite a few areas I wanted to call in were socked in, so I tried calling more in the timber where there wasn't much fog and I had better visibility, but I had no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions on how fog affects how coyotes work? And living in western Washington, as many know, it has a tendency to rain quite a bit, anyone ever call in the rain? Other than not wanting to sit in the rain, I've been wondering how the rain can affect yotes or even cats.

I forget the rain, but i love fog. They can't see or smell you as well and that helps. You may only have a couple of seconds for the shot so you have to be ready.
If your using a ecaller put it just far enough away that you can see it.
