GC,
You can never go wrong with Motown.

Larry,
I knew Sinise had a band, but never knew what instrument he plays...until now. LOL
(Always have liked him as an actor.)

Nice contribution doggin'...

Here's my Memorial Day weekend music contribution.......

The following selections are dedicated to all our military men & women...past & present.
And to my son, Cody, who spent 15 months in Iraq (Army), and is currently in the Army Reserves.

If you folks don't take the time to listen to all of these, I understand.

BUT...PLEASE at least take the time to listen to the first three.
Thank you......

Today's picks are for the Friday night "honky-tonkers".
{not sure if/when I may have played these before}......

Clint...

The one & only, Gene...

Mark...

Daryl...

Stu,
That was a great bass solo!
Truly shows how versitile he is!!
I can't place the song that make up the beginning of the solo, although I've heard them before.

The middle & end are the "Foggy Mountain Breakdown".
First time I've heard it on a bass guitar.
But it's a great banjo tune

And am I the only one that noticed the bass player resembles this guy in his younger days?......

Since this week was the 68th "anniversary" of D-Day, I thought it appropriate to play a few vids I found, paying tribute to the American Armed Forces.
