Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has, and is, using Texas DPS to the fullest extent along with ordering Texas National Guard troops to the border to help stem the flow of ILLEGALS into Texas and the nation all at the expense of Texas!

In a teleconference last night he spelled out these existing assets and advised that he has ordered hiring of 2000 more DPS officers, many of which will be stationed along the border to assist in the effort.

In spite of federal and Texas efforts, March illegal apprehensions along Texas southern border set a new record of 100,000 illegals claiming to be part of "family" units and MSM reporting a new wave of 2500 illegals are currently making their way through Mexico!

Summer is coming and historically illegal immigration increases dramatically during that season.

We could sure use some help from the rest of the nation in applying pressure to your elected representatives to step up and do the job they are being paid to do!

Under current immigration regulations anyone can enter this country illegally and simply claim political asylum to get a free pass to remain in the country awaiting adjudication; then they are released on their promise to appear in court on the appointed date. Courts are overwhelmed, giving the illegal months to disappear anywhere in the US.

Take away the carrot that is drawing hundreds of thousands of illegals and that alone would cut illegal immigration tremendously.

Nah, just trying to get the word out.I don't think folks up north have a clue what's going on down here on the border, but it's headed their way. President Trump is absolutely right about this being an emergency situation and there is no end in sight.

Just to give you an idea, average apprehensions in the lower Rio Grande Valley is averaging 1000/day! Year to date have reached 130,000 compared to total in 2018 of 160,000 and we haven't reached the peak months yet in 19.

All shelters, government and private are filled to overflow and they're turning them loose & headed north in herds. Another wave of 2500 more illegals headed to the border currently and President Trump threatens to close the border if Mexico doesn't stop them.

Anyway, not much interest so guess I'm beatin' a dead horse.

It's blowing like a hurricane here, and the temp dropped down into the 50s. I know the border issue is all over the talk radio up here. But the typical libocrat answer is they'll wait until this problem comes and bites them on the azz. Or shoots them in it...Or it rapes their kid...or mows down a family member while tossing back a few Coronas or 20...etc, etc
 
Trump needs to get the wall built then work on changing the immigration laws to favor our country rather than the immigrants. If he does this his reelection would be a slam dunk as that was what got him elected in the first place.....and the Dumocrats know this and will fight to the death to keep that from happening.
