Future Weapons Cheytac M200

Technology is great but it sure is scary too! Dont give up on the .308, its still going to be the "goto" round for the basic platform thats lightweigh, accurate, and powerful enough to do the deed. If I was in a urban environment, I would choose the .308. If I was in a desert or open country, it would be somethign bigger.

Future Weapons would be cool if it weren't for the Grade-A D-bag they got to host it. I can't hardly watch it because of him.

I did see that episode...cool gun.

Good rifle and round, but most need a military budget to afford either. I think with the average LE sniper engagement distance being around 60 yards, the 308 will be around for a while. When I left the 82nd a few years ago, our scout snipers preferred their 308's over the barrett 50's FWIW. Depends on soft vs. hard targets.
