Rita Blanca National Grasslands Help!

A group of us from Texas have been going to Clayton New Mexico for about 8 years and shooting prairie dogs, calling coyotes and just having a great time. This last year we made the drive and all the prairie dogs in the area were gone. We were told it was the plague. We are now looking for a new place to go and would like to stay in Texas this time. We are wondering about the Rita Blanca Grasslands. Can someone tell me if there are large prairie dog towns there, what towns we should stay in and maybe point us in the right direction. I hate wasting our days scouting a new place the first year. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
Thanks for any help you can give us. ET /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

The Rita Blanca is very close to Clayton, NM. Because of this they have expierenced the plaque also. There are some p-dogs but not any big towns like Im sure you were use to before the plague hit. Im sure they will repopulate but the population is down right now. Hope that helps
