I would like to make a post for a good friend of mine. David Shivers and I have been friends a long time and he is just now getting around to do some predator hunting with me.
Last Saturday, David bagged his first bobcat. He has always wanted to take a bobcat, and I was fortunate enough to be the one to call it in for him. Well, we decided to try our luck again tonight. We have had some terrible west texas winds now for two days(30-40mph, gusts to 50) and tonight it has let up enough to give it a try. Well we had a few dry stands, but we finally connected on his first coyote! He made a perfect shot in the center of the coyote's chest at 75-80 yards.
