I got my new sycho tweety today and I am not sure I like it. It sounds alot like the Primos Doublewammy. Does anyone else think this or should I be getting a different sound from this call?
Anytime you have a dual reed/dual toneboard call, it'll have that 'stereo' sound to it, like the Doublewhammy. From a distress call, it's probably a wicked and effective sound....but the Doublewhammy howler...that's another story, IMO.
Some guys say they have great success with it. I have not. The Tweety has produced ten times better for me. Often it is calling style or area that will lend to this.
A nasty mean pissed-off ground-hornet in your ear. I play mine at about 1/2 full on and that buzz is intense. I wish I'd have come up with the design cause I love it, As a handcaller, I don't leave to hunt without one.
