Hello everyone,

I am now the owner of a Browning S-Stalker in the .338 Rem Ultra Mag. I topped with a
3.5-10x40mm VXIII. I also had a Fox River Muzzle break put on.

Dose anyone own the big .338? Are there any good stories out there? Well I hope so.

I have long been a fan of the .338 mag and now the it's big brother the Ultra mags also. It's a one gun hunts all with the right choice of bullets here in the USA. Jim Carmicheal did in fact take a couple of Cape Buff and Lion with his .338 mag while hunting in Africa several years ago

It will make you one heck of a long range elk buster come the fall, if that is your cup of tea.
I myself am working on a wildcat using the 300 Ultra mag case, then setting a 225 grain 338 Barnes bullet on top for my long range elk smacker. Good Luck to you and yours!
