Badgers in Washington

Does anyone know how to find out if there is any way to legally shoot a badger in Washington State? They are everywhere but Im pretty sure the regs say you can't hunt them. It says to see fur trapping rules and regulations. If anyone has any info, it would be appreciated. I thought I would try on here before I call Fish and Wildlife.

Buy a trapping license $36, set a trap, catch it, then shoot it. Opens Nov. 1 to March 31.

Page 61 of this years game rules rag says you cannot hunt Badgers, see trapping regs.

You might already know but in case you don't, you will need to attend a trapper education course and pass an exam before they will issue a license.
