Howa 1500 controlled feed ?

Howa 1500 rifle controlled feed or push feed, I am looking at buying one of these guns, how good are they? Anybody have any problems with them? Thanks for any input. :eek:
 
Welcome to the board Yo-T!

The only problem I saw was triggers need to be re-done by gunsmith or replaced. Factory one terrible and can not adjust to suite me. When I got it down to the way I liked it, the safety would not work. This is a built-in safety feature. However, a good smith can work it over pretty simple.

Seemed to be a decent rifle for the money. It is a push-feed type very similar to the Rem 700. Uses 700 bases.
 
I just got a 1500 howa syn.stock 308 so far a great gun unlike the above post it has the best out of the box trigger I have seen. Seems to be a lot like my rem 700 action. So far I think its the best bye for the money.I am thinking about a varminter or thumb hole 223 looked at a thumbhole 308 lam. stock felt great. Well good luck let us know how you make out
