There was no time wasted in bringing this up again. This could have a
serious impact on our business, possibly yours, too.

If there ever has been a time to stand up and make your voice heard, this is
it. The new AWB introduced into the House of Representatives by the duly
elected (albeit uninformed) Ms McCarthy of New York picks up where the '94
Ban left off. There will be no renaming or cosmetic changes to skirt the
ban. No parts. There is NO sunset clause. The Attorney General can determine
that even though used for a sporting event, it doesn't mean your firearm has
a sporting purpose. (Doublespeak at its finest.) There will be no
transferring of firearms.

You have heard all the arguments before and now is the time to impress on
your Representatives in Congress that the last ban had ZERO affect and we
will not tolerate the continual erosion of our freedoms in this country by
special interests and agendas.

The 2nd Amendment is NOT about HUNTING! If you believe your hunting firearms
are safe, search for and read what the anti-gunners want to do next. It's
about FREEDOM! It's not a privilege. It's a RIGHT!

Contact your Representatives and tell them to NOT SUPPORT this bill.

Also, Contact Congressman Rick Boucher (276-628-1145) who is the key vote in
the Judiciary Committee who can stop this bill!

If you have a web site, PLEASE POST INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS SO THE WORD
GETS OUT.

PASS THE INFORMATION ON TO YOUR FRIENDS AND EVEN YOUR ENEMIES IF THEY WILL
HELP.

Contact your representative here: http://www.house.gov/writerep/

Contact Congressman Rick Boucher here: www.boucher.house.gov/

But please write them an actual letter, make a phone call or see them in
person.

My Senators are Chuck Schumer and Billary Clinton, Mr and Mrs anti-gun themselves. No amount of hell-raising will change their votes.

You guys will have to raise 2x as much hell for us NY'ers.

Rick Boucher may be a Dem, but he is solidly Pro-Gun. Lets all give him a call. He has always been on our side in the past.

This bill is going to committee. The best people to contact are the committee members, in this case the judiciary committee. This isn’t a very strong bill. There aren’t any co-sponsors and the sponsor is not a powerhouse, so there’s a good chance to get this bill killed in committee.

Well, there WAS a good chance it would die in committee...until Zumbo gave the Brady bunch more ammo.

RR is right. Contact the judiciary committee members.

This is bad, bad, bad. I hope we all put as much effort into fighting this as we did getting Zumbo canned. With a Democrat for pres. after the next election, which is almost a certainty, nothing will stop them. I don't think there will be a "sunset" expiration this time either.

Good hunting

I have said this before, it don't matter if your politicians happen to be pro or anti gun make your opinion known! They are politicians and as such they are opinion driven by the voters. Even ones who have been anti gun in the past can be persuaded to CHANGE THE WAY THEY VOTE, or at least to change the public stance and get less solidly against the second. If they think that there job could be at stake if they PO enough voters. MAke your opinions known to them.
You NY ers Billery has shown that she will bend with the wind if it is strong enough. Make her see it is. or else VOTE THEM OUT OF CONGRESS

Blinddog makes a stellar point!!!!

If we are ASLEEP AT THE SWITCH ...... the train is gonna jump the tracks! We will have all or significant portions of HR 1022 shoved down our throats!

BUT IF WE STAND UP AND BE COUNTED ........!

Even most antiguning politicians will give pause!

You won't change all minds ........ DON'T NEED TO!

You may not change hardly any minds .........

So far as HR1022 is concerned .... all you gotta do is remind them what happened after the Clinton Gun Ban ...... TWELVE years of Republican House control!!

"Do they want to revisit that"???

You drive them back into the shadows to suck their thumbs!

And your work for this day will have been complete!

Wars are won ONE BATTLE AT A TIME!

The number and title of the bill is :
H. R. 1022110th CONGRESS

1st Session
