Randy,

Hi Woodrow. I have a few ranches that are well over 100 sections. On those I will go back 4,5 or 6 times in a season. The others, depends on the amount of response I get. Most of the places I hunt don’t have anyone else on them, so I can keep pretty good tabs on the animal population. If the place is small, I may only go in a couple of times. I have a couple of places around the house where I will slide through on the way home and call a bit and it is really pretty productive. I guess the number of critters in the area should mandate the amount you use the land. I do like to give a place a rest, to help the critters forget how ol’ Charlie died, or what that red light might have been. I do think you can “overhunt” a place, so the bigger the place, the more hunting it will handle. Randy

Ol' Charlie. lmao. Seems like the areas I hunt, they all knew Charlie and told their kids and grandkids how he passed. So I dont get any replies. Little stinkers.
