Has anyone got any experience with the Wizard Scope Light made by Nite Lite, is it sufficient and to what range using the red lens provided by Nite Lite. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I had one.
I used it once, and never again. You could see mabey 30 Yards out. And the battery life was very short. I'd say spend mor money and get something better.
It was even poor as a flashlight. I traded mine for a couple of AR mags.

Just my thoughts on it, I tried it with the red and the amber filters, it just didn't reach out far enough. I think it's a nice size, but too small to be of any use for the task it's designed for.

I use a Wizard II scope light and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I use an amber lens and have "lit up" coyote & fox eyes out to 100+ yards. The idea is NOT TO LIGHT UP THE WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD!

I can normally hunt 3-4 nights before I charge it, but have never had problem with battery life.

I bought a spotlight attachment for bloodtrailing deer and that will drain the battery in less than 2 hours.
