They were Barking at me?

Me and my brother went out fox huntin last night, i was calling for him and about 1 min. into calling we herd this raspy shreak like bark then another from a diffrent place, they barked at us for a while then left i guess. I'm guessing this was a fox and they seen or smelled us or something, it was pretty cool/scarry i never herd 1 do that. they stayed out of range i never seen eyes.

You were definately busted. They will stay out and bark at you if they are unsure of what's up. If they do that, call a bit more, they probably won't come, but others could. I've had 2 standing out and barking,(after a guy missed one) and another one came in like he hadn't eaten in a week.Go figure...Randy
