Browning BLR Quick Release Scope Bases?

Does anyone out there have a Browning BLR that has quick release scope bases that are low enough that they don't block the iron sights if the scope is removed? Any info would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Are you saying that as a generic answer or do you actually own a BLR with these bases and know that you can still see the iron sights? Thanks-

The bases are very thin and i had them on a BAR and you could see the sight very well. The BAR and the BLR lighting use the same bases so should work the same. Use the Maxima bases. I had a BLR in 358 Win but never had a scope on it and just purchased to use with iron sights.
The regular BLR use a different number base.
BLR Lighting uses base # M848 front and rear
Regular BLR uses base # M838 front and rear

Great - thanks for the info. I have the Warne bases and Optima QR rings on my Encore .50 cal and they seem to be rock solid so I doubt they are going to have any problems on a .243 or 7mm-08.

I use the Warne QD on my 338 Ultra Mag and my 338-06 Ack Imp and a bunch of my other rifles with no problems, best rings and bases you can buy. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
