Anyone been hunting near Ely nevada?

I was wondering if any of you nevada boys have been out near Ely lately?

We went out and got our butts handed to us....saw 1 running and only heard 2? Are they doing a lot of pred. control work near there? Just curious.

Very funny....I know I was clean...it was the 2 guys sharing the bunk next to me that I worry about!

bigc, it's probably all those California predator callers that hunt hwy 93 missing the coyotes. They are all bad shots you know. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
They also have lots of predator hunts out of Nevada and Utah, I'm sure many of those teams hunt that area.
I like Ely, not for the hunting but for the gambling. Last time I was there I won $800. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

All depends on where in relation you were to Ely. They do alot of airial gunning around steptoe valley and cave valley.
 
Thanks crapshoot, I'll checkk the map to see where we were relative to those places, it was my first time out that way.

Hard to beleive we had to come back into Utah to do any good...lol.
