Questions about PA coyote hunting

I have some questions about some new laws before I start hunting coyotes again this year. What is the biggest legal shot size? Can you use non-living bait and electronic decoys for coyotes now? Most importantly, where can I find this in writing? I couldn't find it in the laws on the PAGC site. I did find that furbearers could not be taken with shot larger than #4, but I thought this had been changed.

i believe you can use up to #4 buckshot on furbearers. You can also use bait and electro decoys for coyotes. Look in your licesnse info. booklet that comes with your license when you buy it.

PAfurhunter, I found the following info from this part of the PGC website: http://www.pgc.state.pa.us/pgc/cwp/view.asp?a=460&q=150349

Quote:
Recent regulation change now allows any natural or manmade nonliving bait and
any electronic or mechanical device to be used to attract coyotes for hunting or
trapping. The law allowing trappers to use any natural or manmade nonliving bait
to attract coyotes still does not permit the bait to be visible from the air. Those
hunting coyotes, however, may hunt over bait visible from the air.

Quote:
Firearms For Hunting Furbearers: It is unlawful to take furbearers, including
bobcats, with shotguns using shot larger than size number 4 buckshot.
Manually operated rifles or handguns of any caliber can be used.

Ok, thank you. Did you guys hear about the rabid coyote that tried to get into somebody's house in Sinking Springs, PA? That's only a ten minute drive from where I live.

Yea I read about the rabid coyote, as I was passing that info on to a Vet I know she informed me of a fox, coon, and bat that tested positive in the surrounding counties of where I live.
Gets me a little gun shy about skinnin this year.
