I got out with a buddy to look for a place to deer hunt this fall. We saw 4 different groups of turkeys within about 3 hours on a de-activated military base nearby. Two of the groups of birds were hens with poults. This is the first time that I have seen poults from about 15 yards away. I was glad to see them, but they were some ugly little fellers. They looked as though they were almost a solid charcoal grey color. I'm hoping the bird on the table at Thanksgiving won't be from Wal-mart this year. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
