Coyote guns

1. CZ 527 American in 223. About 7 1/2 pounds with the scope.
2. Remington 6mm AI or 243 AI in a 7-8 pound rifle, shotgun type safety with a synthetic or laminate stock and a nice adjustable trigger.I want a carry rifle.
3. Open to brushy country.

1) Winchester M70 classic featherweight in 22-250, Burris ff2 3x9x40 bplx

2)Dream rifle at this very moment is a tie between A Rem. 700 'classic' in 220 swift with a leupy vxIII 3.5x10x40..OR a 22 hornet(looking at CZ) with a variable scope with 6x being max and 40mm to 42mm being the size of the objective.

3) Like Cat Daddy said, Oklahoma, anything from creek bottoms to wide open prairie.

1. 20" flat top AR I built myself. Mega lower, RRA NM 2 Stage trigger, upper from del-ton.com, burris 3-9x40 ffII.

2. Pretty happy with the above mentioned AR, but would someday like a 243 AI, in at this point in a undecided bolt gun.

3. Eastern Oregon, open county, crp, and ag ground.

remington 788 243 extra fancy walnut rosewood cap and grip but i've packed it so many miles the finnish is gone.
she has killed alot of coyotes and it shows.
i need to barrow my sons 700 243 and take her down and refinish her.
if i ever ware her out the next will be stainless with a composite stock.

#1.... I use, about equally, my Savage 10FLP Tactical in .223,... or my Savage 111FL in .250 Savage. The .223 gets the job done on the longer shots when I call fields. I shoot 52gr Sierra match (moly-coated) at 3500+ FPS. This rifle has a bull barrel, is topped with a Redfield 4x-16x 44mm AO scope, and weighs in at 11 1/2 pounds, loaded. The .250 is topped with a Weaver 2.5x-7x, and weighs in at 7 1/2 pounds. It is my shorter-range-situation (brushy) rifle. I shoot 75gr Sierra HP's at 3320FPS.

#2.... My dream coyote rifle would be a Bushmaster Varminter, in .223 or 6x45. If I could get it in a true Left-Hand version, it would be even better. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif I would top it with a 4x-12x Leo. My son has a Bushy Varminter .223 that regularly shoots sub-1/2-MOA groups.

#3.... Most of my hunting/calling is around fields, when the conditions are right. About 1/3 of my calling is grown-up clearcuts.

#1 I use 4 different ones, which one goes depends on my mood, but the one that goes most often is a Tikka T3 in 22-250 shooting Sierra 55 grain soft points.

#2 Dream gun would be a custom .243AI built on a 700 action and using a Shilen select match SS barrel in a McMillen stock. Yes, I've thought a lot about this rifle! Might be my next project?

#3 hunt mostly open desert/sagebrush areas and surrounding agricultural lands in eastern Washington

#1 Any gun in the safe. rem 221, AR 16" BB, Ruger 25-06, Win Model 79 338 winmag.

#2 My dream gun?

#3 Mostly semi open desert.

1. I use a marlin model 25m .22 magnum with remington 33 gr premier v-maxx. Topped with a BSA Catseye 3-10x44 illuminated reticle scope which I got at the Walmart on Clearence for 61.00
2. I am raising a young boy so all my extra funds go to things for him but I would love to have a 22.250.
3. I mainly am hunting in hilly wooded areas. some open fields but they are fairly small so a .22 magnum covers them fairly well.

Probably this one! Since we did help spec it out I would say it is my dream gun. With the EOP option instead of flat top of course.

We hunt alot of different terrain, but seems like no matter what our shots fall under 100, usually under 50.

i use my savage model 10 in 7mm wsm with 120 gr barnes tsx. it has a 3.5-10x50 burris FF2.

i would like to get an AR in 243 wssm.

i hunt anywhere form really thick stuff, to open desert, to canyons, to rolling hills, pretty much anything i can hunt on. but my favorite is hunting up in the mountains and having yotes come in on old loggin roads!

1. T/C Encore, 24 inch standard 223 barrel, 4-12x40 Bushnell, Bsquare Roto-Tilt 9-13 inch bipod, Fishin scale says 9lbs 14ozs.

2.Custom Flat top AR in 223 (if I didn't live in Cali)

3. Pine covered mountains, Brushy country and wide open spaces.

t/c223encore.

Forgot, that VSF will be topped with an Alpen 6-24X50. Not sure of the load I'll shoot yet.

Hunt all types of terrain in several states. Here at home we find ourselves both in pretty open country (large pastures, etc) and tight quarters in brushy stuff.

GO TO RIFLE
Savage 340
Cal 30-30 125 Grain Spitzers hand loads
Weaver K-6 fixed power
Western Colorado
Brushy and some timber...shots are 50 yards to 200 Yards.

DREAM GUN
Winchester Model 70 Varment/Bull Barrel
Cal .225 Winchester
Redfield 6-18x40 (Denver made)

If I would quit playing with my other toys...I could buy one, and be a happy camper.

1. 308 Win. Remington Model 700 SS w/ 3-9 Leupold sporter (getting a VSSF II in 204 so we'll see if the 308 still is the favorite for song dogs).

2. Dream: Model 700 in 22-243 or 25-06 full custom camo.
(would fill in nicely between 204 and 308)

3. Eastern WY, Eastern CO, and NE (all)

First...Bushmaster Varminter, Leupold 4.5X14X50 LR with varmint reticle on an Armalite 1 piece mount, Butler Creek caps, Enidine hydraulic buffer, Young Machine chrome bolt and carrier with an IBD Sling System tactical packed in a Pelican case. Dunno wieght for sure, guessing appx. 10 lbs.

Second... See above

Third... Mostly open, but some of each. Southwest.
