Anyone use Barnes Varminator bullets?

I just bought a box of 40 grainer Im loading these in 223, 28 grains of H-335.
These will be feeding a AR-15 that i've had out over the past couple weeks shooting ground hogs,I'm hopeing these bullets will give me a bit more destruction than the sierra
varminters I wasen't really impressed much buy those!

Have been using them in my 221 fire ball for a year now. Have had mixed results on coyotes. Splashes, large holes, minimal penetration , and sometimes they performed flawlessly. They work great for splattering jacks and P-dogs. I have decided to switch and try the sierra 45gr soft point varminters this year.

I loaded up a thousand rounds of those 40 grainers in my .223 last year for my annual prairie dog hunt. This year I loaded up the Hornady v-max's. My experience was that the v-max's were more explosive. I will load the hornady's again for next year.
