what are your thoughts and opinions on them. am I wasting my money getting one or is it worth it. I am looking to be able to get close to moa. has the ones you have owned in the past been decent shooters or are they here and there.

I'v had one for 5 years now. I love it! I've loaded 1,000's of rounds for it and it consistently shoots less than MOA with several bullets from 35gr to 55gr using Lil'Gun. I've got a Bushnell Banner 6-18x50 scope on it. Buy one, you will never regret it.......unless you do not reload.

so I will have to reload to get consistant shots. no factory ammo. this is not a problem I just have to buy dies that is all.

I own one that shoots awesome straight of the box ammo with open sights ! I shot a deer in the ear once at 40 yards{legal in Texas}! killed lots of other critters with it as well!
no special loads!
In my opinion if they won't shoot inch groups or less with factory ammo why own them! I'm too busy hunting to be reloading!

hello,i recently started my handi-rifle journey...many guys have good results-many don't.mine has started a little rocky with some tinkering & load development i hope to make a decent shooter of my 25-06.my perspective is these are field guns for what they cost it is unrealistic to expect a "tack driver" for $200 or so...jump over to graybeardoutdoors.com.they have a specific forum on handi's good luck.

I have had 6 handi rifle's .17 hmr,.22 hornet, .223,2-243's and a .270! the only one's that were not tack drivers were the .243's ,but I didn't play with loads as I stated if it wont shoot factory i don't keep it! I do reload some ,but just for fun! not something I want to have to count on for a shooter!
one of the .243' was inconsistant and the other was 2 inch group at best!
my way of thinking is that if they will shoot good factory groups the hand loads should be awesome!

I love my Handi hornet, it'll shoot 10 shots inside an inch at 100yds with most of em inside ½" with th 35gr Vmax and Lil'gun. It's available in 3 versions, youth and adult synthetic superlight and a standard Handi.
