Finally couldn't take it any more and quit work early this afternoon. I headed out east of town and 7 minutes 45 seconds into my first stand I had a dead male coyote laying out on the prairie. I used my Savage 12VLP in .204 Ruger. I haven't had time to sight it in for the 35 gr. Berger FB HP coyote load I have worked up so I used the 32 gr. V-Max Hornady load I have for varmints/prairie dogs. It knocked him down just like it did on the coyote I called and shot on October 5th. Bang!!! Flop!!!
