Rubber eye piece

Does anyone else have trouble keeping the eyepiece on their scope? I have the 35 Super Hogster and the eyepiece keeps coming off. I am thinking of some weatherstrip glue. Lost it in the field and had to wait till daylight one time.

I took mine off and put on a Butler Creek cover instead:

A piece of electrical tape wrapped around where the two pieces meet and problem solved. A lot of people want them off, so Bering can't glue/epoxy etc or many others will be upset.

If you go with the Tactical eyecup, it isn't coming off unless you want it off. It wraps around the entire eyepiece. That eye cup is also a little more stiff, so I like the original one better. I would just recommend the electrical tape, and if you lose it for some reason, contact Bering as they typically will send you a replacement.

Cable ties have worked for me on all of my units.

I try to use shuttered PVS 14 eyepieces on my units to avoid light splash. My last hog hunt was at 25 yards and avoiding light splash is critical.
