Not sure where to post this. I know lots of guys use tripods during night hunting, so it landed here .
But I have tried something to make tripod more balanced with recently built ar10.
Figured I’d share it.
I feel the leveling ball/base is much more stable . And it feels even better now it’s at its balance point. Instead of having to crank the mount tight to lock it, it just takes a snug turn and it don’t drift or sag when you let go of gun. Here are a few piks.
