Fine crosshairs

Any recommendations on a 22 scope friendly budget under $250. Looking for fine crosshairs for prairie Dog hunting.. Everything seems to have thick crosshairs. TKS

I prefer fine cross hairs as well. I recommend vintage Leupolds due to the warranty factor if it’s ever needed. Finding one in your price range may be difficult. I have a couple Nikon monarchs that have very fine crosshairs. With them out of the scope market and left leaning I’ll adjust my purchase price accordingly if I come across a used one. Old weavers seem prone to fogging but some have fine crosshairs.

Yep, a used leupold. Just going to be more than what you want to spend. I have 5 Nikon prostaff 5 3.5-14 BDC’s. They aren’t fine crosshairs but at 14x it gets the job done. I have one on my Ruger American 22WMR. Works great for pinpoint accuracy as far as the gun will shoot.

I have a Sighton SIH Rimfire 3-9x32 fine reticle on a 22lr. Excellent rimfire scope, it's perfect for that role and priced right.

I have a 4-16 bushnell engage on my .17WSM squirrel gun. Love it! very fine cross hairs. Right in your price range.
