Primer Scam

Everyone be AWARE. If you search for #34 or #41 primers on web, most of the results are phony/fraud sites. They have good looking websites but if you put something in your cart and go to checkout they all have the same look and only take Zelle or cash app for payment and most require at least $200 purchase.

First clue with these sites is they always have the unattainable in stock, whether it's primers, powders, or guns.

I always put 100 or 1000 in my cart, then go to checkout and see payment options, which is never a credit card.

Funny when you see 2.3 million dollar charge, with $15.00 shipping.....

I use:

Brownells
Midway
Midsouth
Graffs & Sons
Powder Valley
Natchez
Precision Reloading

If they don't have it. Thats that.

I also was on a site looking for Hodgon International powder, they showed that they had some in 14oz. 4lb. and 8lb. in stock with no limits, also all types of primers payable only in bitcoins, and $20.00 shipping. I checked reviews and BBB said the site was bogus. The name is Alphex Firearms out of Lawrence Kansas. I almost fell for them. Good Luck, Chris

That's exactly right! Also they tend to use a hacked real website. For example: GuardianArms.NET is a scammer but GuardianArms.com was a real site that is now down due to the scam. The good one is in Washington and the bad one in Maine.

Glad I live close enough to Powder Valley to drive up.Some of us around here split gas and go,heading up for small rifle primers today after shooting this morning

Terry, do you still have to call your order in advance then go pick it up? I've never been there but plan to make a trip one of these days.

You can order online from powder valley and pick it up in four days. That's the usual way to do a pick up anymore. I drive by there daily on my way to and from work so it's a no brainer not to pay for shipping.

I did that once and learned the hard way that you have to order online and pick-up in person. Yes, it was my fault. 2 orders were put in online but I figured I would just pick mine up while in the "store". I took home $400/worth of goodies to my family and friends and got nothing that I was after.

It's not a knock on PV. I am usually my own worst enemy.

Notice there as been no announcement of the attorney general's office or FBI investigating any firearms related internet scams. They must be to busy trying to uncover corruption in the beef, petroleum markets. Or the latest, an individual wants to acquire a potion of Twitter stock and make it a free speech social media site, so the A.G. must investigate that person's businesses. Keep voting democrat to find out how 3rd world socialism will work here.

Those that will see if shown and those that can’t see. Kinda like right, center and left.

bold of you to assume they're investigating any internet scams / scam websites.

all they can really do is take them down anyway. basically none of them are going to be domestically run to begin with.
