AR 15 223 PISTOL

Not in .223, but I've got a pretty sweet 7.5" rig setup in .350Legend (Commie-state compliant) for deer hunting.

I use my 12” 6.5 Grendel, 90 tnt hand loads are amazing on coyotes, I feel comfortable out to 300 yards with it. I also have a 10.5” in 556 that is surprisingly accurate with heavier bullets but I haven’t shot any animals with it yet

Thanks for the info guys. Murdoc, can you elaborate a bit on your " super hogster " and what load and bullet do you use ? Thanks, Jerry

10.5” Craddock Precision barrel 1:8 twist I believe maybe 7 I can’t remember for sure. 55 grain midway dogtowns over Tac.

That barrel shoots just about anything pretty dang good. I have a lot of those loaded up as they shoot really well out of my dpms pencil barrel.

I just bought all the parts to put one together. Also have a 16" Ballistic Advantage 8-T barrel. I intend to apply it as a SA specialty pistol and not an SBR. I'll be going with 60-73 grain bullets and probably a VLD magazine.

I have an SBR. I have uppers in 223 and 300 Blackout.
I use the 300 Blackout a lot more around the farm.
I have been shooting some Megtech 147gr in my 300
They do very nice.
