Shot my .224 Valkyrie last week with with a 70 grain brass shells. I couldnt find anymore so I went with a 60 grain Nickel plated brass. Well everytime I shoot around the next round gets jammed. Shot 4 times and it happened every shot. Its jams so hard it dents and bends the next round. Does Nickel plated brass make that much difference or is there something else I should be looking at?

I doubt it's the brass, it's the different bullet profile that your rifle doesn't like. Something in the combination of feed ramps and magazine along with the bullet length and shape is causing the trouble imo. This is where a few dummy rounds to mess with come in handy to try and figure out the cause.

I know with my 243 lbc, which has a similar profile, it didnt feed short bullets well until I beveled the inside edge of the ejector pin. The case rim would catch on it as it tried to feed.
