Am I weird for wanting to shoot coyotes with a tikka in 6.5 swede? With a thermal?

Just got a tikka T3 in 6.5 Swede. Bought for next years deer season but now I want to shoot coyotes with it. Would that be wrong?

Was thinking about throwing my pulsar on it.

Good idea?

I put my super hogster on a T3 in 7-08 because I didn’t want to take the day optic off my 22-250 during season. Only issue was eye relief and recoil. You will want to crowd the scope to get a good view, but the increased recoil will bite you. That and 120gr ballistic tips are really hard on fur.
