I howled and the pack answered straight in front of us. Within a few minutes my buddy spotted one but the grass was tall and we could just catch glimpses of him. I thought I saw a 2nd one and my buddy said that he thought there might be 3 but again the grass was a problem. I hit Pup Distress and I could see 1 break and come in angling to my right. As I was tracking him in my scope I saw this male standing still looking at us at 100ish yds. My buddy got on him and we double tapped him. The other 1 or 2 got away in the tall grass. One is better than none.
We both hit him dead center chest, the gut shot was a running dead follow up shot.
