Like several stated....I usually don't hunt Coyotes until it gets colder and I give them to the local Trappers so they don't go to waste,now if there's a Coyote with the Mange or a problem with them killing calves or the neighbors pet dog or cat then they get taken out at any time.
If the opportunity happens while out setting up ladder stands or brush hogging I won't pass up the chance to kill a Coyote...but fall and winter is when we target the Predators the most plus if its furbearer season the Foxes, Bobcats and Racoons can be taken at that time also.
