Cleaning take apart cans

I do. I noticed that my modular can (Banish 45) will not unscrew if I do not tap the baffles out before trying to unscrew that section of the can.

What kind of tips are you looking for?

I read up on that a bit and did the research. Be cautious about what chemicals you put on aluminum baffles. One guy swore by vinegar and or alcohol. I avoided that because of their corrosive properties. My buddy said he uses an Ultra sonic cleaner but I have not.

The suppressor guys told me to use SLIP 2000 Carbon Killer. You have to order it online but it is supposed to be the best.

One video I watched said that nothing will make the baffles 100% clean. I am still learning as I go.

I started with a one hour soak in Simple Green followed by a rinse and then a one hour soak in Hoppes #9. I made sure to rinse everything with clean water and let them dry.
