I have these paired with my razor hearing protection. I also use them to communicate while riding my side x side.

When I was taking out newbies I had a set of Midland GTX 650's, haven't used them in years(15). I have them in a box and charge them every once in a while to keep them alive.. Hunting with a partner verbal communication isn't really a big deal.
