A Double in Ga last night.

Landowner called and said coyotes woke him up yesterday morning, howling. Set up last night crosswind in his cow pasture with the Foxpro. Just recently put my thermal on a Tikka 22-250, had it loaded with 55 gr Varmageddon's.
Scanned the field before turning on the call, nothing but cows in the distance. Dialed up a sound, laid the remote down on my backpack, looked thru my scanner and saw TWO coyotes looking toward the call. I shot the first one, it hit the ground, and I swung on the running coyote. He made it to the top of the hill before stopping to look back. Using my PIP, I shot it and could see it flopping around, but the grass was high and I lost sight of it.
Had to go back this morning in the daylight and was able to find it. It appeared to fall right where I shot it.
First coyote was about 60 yds, female, appeared to be close to having pups. No pic (too graphic to post). Second coyote was a male, shot at 180 yds (using Leica rangefinder).
Landowner was happy, and I'm pretty happy with my new Tikka.
