Local guy is selling an 1886 from Browning. It is miroku made and looks to be of great quality, anybody on here know a realisitc value on it? It has a 26" Octagonal barrel. No box.

Yep, that looks like her. The guy isnt moving from his price but hes in the ballpark. Hopefully get a chance tomorrow to look at it and go from there.
 
I have one of these. Miroku manufactured for Winchester. I like the gun, and have killed elk wit it. But, I think that price is quite steep. I would have guessed more like $1100.
 
Ended up not mattering, we made a plan and the guy fell off the face of the earth. Maybe for the better as I liked it and was willing to pay his asking price.
