has anyone tried mounting a hunting range finder on a thermal scope ? was thinking about trying my Leica and mounting it .

Unless it’s got a visible external display not very useful and also need a way to calibrate/adjust it.

There are cheap options like LaserWorks that are OK. I wish you good luck but see hurdles in front of you.

I used a Laserworks LE-032 with a D 740 night scope till I went with a XQ50 LRF. The Laserworks didn’t do well ranging animals but was handy getting ranges once I got setup on a stand. China made but it held up. If not for the XQ50 LRF I would be using it. Better than nothing.

Just wait for the the N-Vision XRF. They come with an onboard LRF.

Pulsar makes several different on board LRF models, problem is they're Pulsars.

Finally a standalone option is the Silencerco Radius LRF. No longer made, tough as nails, work great and are pricey compared to their original sale price
