hog calling

I have tried calling pigs one time took two out havnt had any luck since thought it was a fluke. I would like to know some thoughts and some success stories on calling them.

Glenn Guess has pretty much removed all doubt about calling hogs.

Yes it works, and it’s about the most exciting way to hunt hogs. All my opinion of course, but it’s hard to beat a whole sounder of pigs charging in with their ears out, hair standing on end, and chuckling & woofing at you the entire way.

I was calling last night and set the caller on the edge of a power line right of way. As soon as I turned the caller one(nutty nuthatch) a hog began an aggressive grunting right at the caller. He must have been bedded real close. He never came into the open but he gave me a few minutes of excitement as he cut up. Sounded just like one of Glenn’s sounds.
