but just barely. Called in a double, and my partner made a nice shot on the male at 150 yds. The female stopped at the woods line at about 250 and I would have had a shot, but she was right in the line with the handle bars on my partner's bike, and then she was gone. It was sprinking by the time we got him out. Unfortunately, my partner head shot the male again at 150 yds. when he tried to get back up, but would have been a nice coyote otherwise.

We can't do anything valuable with these southern coyotes anyway, but my hunting partner did have someone who he intended to give this one to so it could go to the taxidermist. Hopefully we'll get another one that will look good before the fur starts getting bad.
