Marlin Rifle Basix Help

I'm trying to put a rifle basix trigger in my 883 and according to the instructions the trigger weight spring and adjustment screw goes in after the trigger is installed. I can not see any way to get the spring in. Looks to me like in the instructions the spring should sit in the hole just ahead of the adjustment screw but the spring is too big for the hole. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I'm no help on this, but I am interested in the trigger and how you like it. My 883 has a very loooooong gritty creep of a trigger.
 
I talked with Rife Basix and it seems it was packaged with the wrong trigger spring. They are sending me the whole works instead of just the spring.
